When it comes on to building a non profit organization, there are things that need to be adhered to and therefore we need to ensure that they are followed. There have been book upon books on starting a non profits and charitable organization, in order to ensure that the organization is productive, but we can only talk about a few. So here are the ones that are my favorite.
Branding
The way these books look at the top of branding, they come from different points of views and therefore make the information allot more interesting.
Brand rising
There are books that will give you a basic idea as to how to brand the organization and therefore be able to make fund raising events that will be successful. Here is a book by Sarah Durham which, to me, is like a blue print that will show you what needs to be done when doing things of that nature. The name of the book is How Nonprofits Raise Visibility and Money Through Smart Communications. In getting this book you will be sure to have all the information that is need to come up with a step by step plan that will surely make building the organization something that is simple.
Breakthrough Non-profit Branding
When it comes on to branding, as referred to by these authors, it comes from all the departments with the organization and therefore it becomes something that everyone is a part of. Books that would give you a very good advice are: Seven Principles to Power Extraordinary Results, which is written by Anne Erhard, Carol Cone, Kristian Darigan Merenda and Jocelyne S. Daw.
Marketing
When it comes on to marketing books on starting non profits then the one that I would most definitely recommend is High-Impact, Low-Cost Ways to Build Support for Your Good Cause which is written by Kivi Leroux Miller. With h all the experience that he had with varied organization, he then informs us as to what we need to be done to ensure that the marketing arm of the organization runs like a well oiled machine. There are ways in which you will able to use the media, with limited funding, to do what you had intended for it to do.
Psychology
The books that I will be recommending, gives an overview as to what the Psychology of the business is all about. On the other hand, the second book will surely give you that you need to know about the Psychology of giving.
How Unlikely Innovators Solve the World’s Toughest Problems by Monique Sternin, Richard Pascale and Jerry Sternin and also : Experimental Approaches to the Study of Charity which was edited by Christopher Y. Olivola and Daniel M. Oppenheimer, gives somewhat of an overview as what is done by person why what they tried always seem to work but when others do the same then it results in failure. It also gives some understanding as to the way in which to approach donors. With that in mind, there are ways in which that is done and the art of it is to always ensure that you are successful at what you are doing. Hopefully you find these books on starting non profits useful in your venture.
